Magnetic Properties of electron beam direct written Fe3O4 nanostructures
In this work we will study magnetic properties of nano-structured iron naphthenate in the form of arrays fabricated by electron beam lithography. On heat treatment at 4000C for 5 hrs, iron naphthenate got converted into magnetite Fe3O4, which exhibits magneto-optical kerr effect. The sample hysteresis characteristic is found to be strongly dependent on the aspect ratio and the gap between the Fe3O4 nanoarrays.
