Synthesis of Molybdenum doped V2O5 nanowires nanowire by solution method
The main objective of this project is to explore a new and facile synthetic method to obtain Molybdenum doped V2O5 nanowires on silicon oxide substrate by solution method and to explore its applications in the field of biosensor and lithium ion battery The solution was dip coated on the silicon oxide substrate and then simply annealed in oven at 4500C in ambient air for 4 hrs. SEM analysis shows that the lengths in micrometers and diameters of 100-150 nm. The experimental results indicate that high quality nanowires can be obtained using this simple and inexpensive synthetic method. Electric property of Mo-V2O5 nanowires is under progress.
